Show Spaces
We have had the honor to participate in showcases over the years. For those who don’t know, a designer showcase or showhouse is a space set aside for designers to exhibit their design capabilities and is open to public viewing. We love showcases because it’s an opportunity to stretch creatively without constraints, experiment with new ideas, and show our design range, which isn’t always revealed through client projects. Proceeds of showhouses typically benefit charity organizations, which makes all the hard work worthwhile!

We participated in the Southeastern Designer Showhouse in 2024. Designing these rooms was a treat! Because it was Spring, we wanted to reimagine the garden-inspired palette. Our concept originated from our interest in creating a space that celebrates childhood creativity and curiosity, but in an elevated way. We like to think that this room belongs to a grandparent or any homeowner that hosts guests both big and small. The room is meant be versatile and double as a child’s room and a guest room. As an adult guest in this room, it’s the perfect place to take a moment for yourself, sleep in, or read a book. As a child, we hope imagination is sparked from the leaves on the vaulted walls and the whimsical bed panels and cornices.

We discovered this Anna French wallpaper first, fell in love with it, and built the design around it. The paper, to me, captured what we wanted to do with the space. It has that Old World feel to it, and it’s produced in a fresh, happy colorway. Thank you to all our partners who made this space a reality!

Above is a booth we designed for Birmingham Antiques at the Gardens in 2019, meant to conjure the feeling of a cozy study. We loved being included not only because this is a popular show, but also because Birmingham is my hometown. Proceeds benefit the mission of the nonprofit, Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens, which seeks to protect, nurture, and share the wonders of the Gardens.
