Our Process

Phase I

Discovery and Onboarding

First things first, tell us about your project. We’ll send you a brief overview of our process, fee structure, and agreement. Then we’ll walk through your home together and discuss what you’re envisioning, timeline, and budget. We’ll create a list of what you want to do and request a shared board of ideas to get started on your design.

Phase II

Presentation and Sourcing

Here’s where ideas really take shape as we combine your inspiration with drawings, illustrations, swatches, and sourced options to nail down a design direction. From there, we’ll present the nitty gritty details accompanied by a physical board so you can feel, interact with, and experience different elements. By the time we’re finished, we’ll have pinpointed your exact taste.

Phase III

Pricing and Planning

Once we have your selections we’ll request firm pricing and lead times from the vendors we work with. We’ll create a line item proposal based on your timeline, budget, and priorities. Together we will discuss the long-term timeline of your project and break it into different phases of ordering/installation so you can prepare.

Phase IV

Proposal and Ordering

Overall your proposed design will likely consist of currently owned, custom made, and found or refinished pieces. Before placing any orders, we’ll request your approval and collect a deposit. We work closely alongside trusted boutique vendors, furniture workrooms, and contractors.

Your designer will…
+ nail down production details and associated costs
+ oversee the production process from start to finish
+ deliver materials to the vendor as needed
+ communicate with the workroom to ensure the end result is complete and correct

Phase V

Installation

With each piece, our team will evaluate whether it’s an option to be delivered to your residence or to our receiving warehouse for a bulk installment at a later date. When it comes time to install, our team can be onsite to handle the job as needed.

Enjoy what you created and soak in all that you’ve accomplished already! From there, we will continue to layer and build upon your space per the sourcing, ordering, and installation process until the project is complete.
